Dear XXXXXX

Burning of thigh with itching can be due to two reasons.
1. A neuropathy. Involvement of the nerves supplying the thighs either at lower spine or during their passage to thighs can cause such symptomatology.
2. A local allergic reaction. If your thigh has come in contact with any allergen, it can induce a local allergic reaction.

More likely to be due to neuropathy.

You must try B12 preparations such as Neurobion and also Pregablin.
They help in neuropathic symptoms.
Most neuropathies is not related to any underlying diseases such as diabetes, kidney disease etc, are self limiting.

So, try the above medicines for few days.
If symptoms persist, do consult your doctor.

Hope this answers your concern.

Sincerely,

Dr Kiran
