Sugar Normal After Treatment. Can I Take Galvus Met?

Question : my sugar is normal after treatment, shall i continue with galvus met ? if i make it as habbit, is ther any issue?

Thanks for your query to this forum,
Your blood sugar levels are normal and you are taking Galvus Met.
I can understand your concern about the Diabetes.
Simply diabetes is a metabolic disease in which a person has high blood sugar, either because the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, or because cells do not respond to the insulin that is produced.
Treatment of diabetes involves taking care of diet which should be 25 Kcal/kg body weight, and avoid simple sugars. Please take up regular exercise like brisk walking for 45 to 60 minute daily along with prescribed medicines.
There is no question of habit in case of diabetes.
Please let me know:
1) What are your blood sugars levels Fasting Blood Sugar, Post prandial blood sugar.
2) What is your height and weight?
3) When diabetes was first detected?
4) Nature of work like sedentary like desk work.
5) Do you take alcohol and/or smoking?
6) Any other information you want to give.
Please provide above information, and then I will be able to clarify better.
