Question : hi. i have been slipped on road and having sprain on my left leg. i have done xray luckily no crack is been seen. but still there is swelling and if i put some weight on leg, its paining. i am having bedrest right now but is there any medicine which will help to have faster recovery from swelling...

Hi,

I would start you on antiinflammatory drugs like aceclofenac along with chymotrypsin tablets. These are prescription only medications which your local doctor will know.

This swelling will take a few days to week to improve. Rest well and keep the limb elevated. You should also ice the affected region regularly.
