Question : Wife has stage two pleomorphic undifferentiated sarcoma of the thigh and the post-operative pathology reports are inconclusive and contradictory. Should we have a re-resection of her tumor site when the pathologists can't agree or should we wait and watch?
Brief Answer:
sarcoma of limb
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
If the resection was complete and there was also preoperative radiation, rather than having repeat surgery you should remain under close observation. sarcomas are notorious tumors and may abruptly present with distant spread.
