Brief Answer:
Diverticulitis or diverticulosis?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this diagnosis. I will like a precision to know exactly what the problem is. If it is diverticulitis, then in addition to the following for diverticulosis, you need antibiotics. However, you seem to suggest that you have diverticulosis from your write up. Diverticulitis is an infection while diverticulosis is out pouches from the intestinal wall.

The main promoting factor is constipation. To address, you have to eat health by increasing fruits, vegetables and fiber intake. Avoid having constipation which often comes as a result of insufficient intake of these food types alongside lack of exercise and increased consumption of processed food.

In all, i encourage vegetables, fruits, fiber, increased fluid consumption and physical activity. As long as stool is not hard, it is good news and best for diverticulosis.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
