Brief Answer: Will like to help Detailed Answer: Hi I am Dr Mittal, MD I have read your query. I will try to help you. Now stelazine is basically trifluoperazine which is an antipsychotic. In the query you said its being taken for colon. Can you kindly confirm what type of colonic condition are you facing? I could help you accordingly Best of luck Dr Mittal

Brief Answer: Amitryptiline Detailed Answer: I would suggest you meet your doctor for a prescription for one of the following, and I am sure it will help you 1. Amitryptiline- this may help you, and would have been my first choice if I was treating. However there is the issue of habituation (not addiction). 2. Use of group of SSRIs. 3. Use of group of SNRIs (serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors) The latter two groups have been found to be effective in few cases. But they are not my choice of drugs. I hope this helps Dr Mittal
