Question : I gave my child Typhoid vaccine 1st dose 0n 4.2.16 at the age of 2 year. brand name ENTEROSHILD.
IN this year i am relocated in some other place. Here vaccine shop suggest me TYBAR BRAND name vaccine as the last dose , which is available gele. please guide me. The vaccination date was overdue on 2.4.17.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Enteroshield contains Vi capsular polysaccharide for Typhoid. The subsequent booster dose can be given either with Vi capsular polysaccharide or the conjugate vaccine (Vi polysaccharide conjugate). Typbar – TCV which is a Vi capsular polysaccharide linked to tetanus toxoid (conjugate) vaccine can therefore be given safely as the last dose and you can proceed with that without any worries. The vaccine being overdue would not matter.
