Question : thank you I need alternatives to my neurontin for panic dissorder. I can't afford them any more $800.00 per month

Neurontin is GABAPENTIN and is a good drug for anxiety, fibromyalgia and a number of pain conditions. If the drug is costly then other anxiety drugs can be used if anxiety is only complaint. Benzodiazepines like Clonazepam, Lorazepam etc can be used. These drugs in low dose help to control anxiety. These medicines are cheaper than Neurontin.

Lyrica or Pregabalin is another option. The drug is more efficacious than Neurontin and is cost effective also. You can discuss with your psychiatrist for either of these drugs.
