Brief Answer:
Gurgling with lukewarm water should provide relief.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Antibiotics are neither harsh nor soft on your system. They do not affect your system but act only on the bacteria and kill them. So, any of them should be fine (depends on the sensitivity and type of infection suspected of course). However, most often the sore throats are due to viral cause. Even if it is due to bacteria like Streptococcus, irrespective of the use of antibiotics it takes about 5 days to resolve and antibiotics are not essential. So, all I would suggest you is to gurgle with lukewarm water multiple times a day.

THank you for the reply Dr. Like I mentioned since I am observing my Rozas, gurgling so many times of the day is not so much possible. Hence I have opted for medication. So do you think I must have any antacid with it?

Brief Answer:
Take omeprazole once daily in the morning.

Detailed Answer:
Since you are not going for gurgling, even if you do not take the medicine it will take equal time in recovery. So, I do not see the point in taking the medicine. The choice is yours anyway.

Rather than taking antacids it would be more useful taking medicines like omeprazole once daily in the morning, if allowable in accordance to the roza rules.
