I am so sorry to hear about this difficulty getting ativan. It's rather unfortunate that a doctor will withhold what actually works for his patients in the name of preventing abuse. Unfortunately, this is a controlled substance and can only be obtained via a doctors prescription. Talk to him about the need be emphasizing on your symptoms and letting him know this is not intended for any other reasons. Am sorry, but you can only get this through your doctor's prescription. Talk to him again and again by mentioning the symptoms and not the drug. That will passively push him to as opposed to out rightly requesting for that.
