Question : i think i have lichen screlosis my dr gave me diflucin and a a interbal cream to put ibside.. i have itching still and i am going on vacation tmm and cant see ger is there a temporary something i can use until i see her. i also have a very small spot that comes and goes on my labia. i have hasymotos.. this itching comes and gpes frequently. i am gluten free and no sugar in my diet.. need tempory telief would cortozon help?

Diflucan should help, but if it is not doing the job then you can surely use cortisone cream over the region for a while. But please do get back to your doctor as soon as you can for her permission and advise accordingly.

But if you have access to a medical store then please do try and get a cream consisting of clobetasol (is a corticosteroid cream) which is mainly used for itching, redness, etc; and would serve to help you better than the cortisone.
