Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would recommend taking metoprolol 100mg ( Lopressor , Toprol XL) instead of bystolic 20mg.

These drugs are both betablockers and have similar effects.

You can raise the daily dose of metoprolol up to 200mg.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues!
