Question: A doctor gave me clindamycin for my sinus infection and know it is bothering my gut, I have diverticulitis and I just want to feel better what can I do to get different medicine

If you have a bacterial infection, you would require an antibiotic. Antibiotics are prescription medicines and you need your doctor to prescribe it for you.
All sinus infections do not have to be bacterial. So you can try medicines like Clarinase which is a decongestant and otrivin nasal spray which will give you symptomatic relief.
If you are not better you need to explain to your doctor regarding the problem you are facing with Clindamycin and request him/her to give you an antibiotic you are comfortable with.
