Question : Hi there, I was advised to use clotrimozole ointment on my anal region as the itch down there is unbearable. I have been treated for hemorrhoids and an anal fissure. It still itches like crazy and when I pass stool a little streak of blood appears on the toilet paper when I wipe. This itch has been an ongoing problem for years now. I have been using clotrimozole twice daily for 5 days and it is no better. I was advised to try mebendazol next. thank you.
