1. Coreg is known to cause headaches. But itching and anxiety is not known normally.

2. However, if you need to replace, you can go for other brands of Carvedilol (Coreg contains carvedilol) at same dosage like Carvil, dilatrend or carloc. If it is still allergic, then you need to go for metoprolol.

For Metoprolol, you will require prescription from your doctor.
