Question : I've been diagnosed with Duprenchin Contracture on my right palm. I have some pain but no loss of mobility. Down the road has any alternatives to surgery proven successful. I'm 67 and very active

There are alternatives like physiotherapy and stretching, hot fomentation, needle insertion and puncture of the tight fascia, steroid injection into the contracture site, minimally invasive surgical fasciectomy.
Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol.
Good results have been found with the open surgical procedure as well as needle insertion.
