Question : Hello Doctors,
I have been diagnosed with Urea plasma Parvum and they gave me antibiotic Zithromax and from the first day I went to emergency and kept vomiting with diarrhea as I have very sensitive stomach with IBS, is there any alternative treatment which is natural to get rid of it? plus is it the one causing the bad smell and odor like sweating or this is different case?
Many Thanks

Brief Answer:
Antibiotics is the mainstay of treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Its an atypical bacterial infection which is why it does not respond to commonly prescribed antibiotics such as the penicillins and cephalosporins. Specific antimicrobial treatment with azithromycin is the only treatment that is effective. No other therapy or supplementation or natural remedy has shown any substantial response against ureaplasma. You should complete the antibiotics course of Zithromax.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
