Cipralex(Escitalopram) is one of the most effective and potent antidepressant medication among its class.If your depressive symptoms are not controlled it does not mean the drug is not working.In your case instead it calls for addition of another drug.

I were to start on a low dose of Aripiprazole which acts in relatively different manner compared to both the drugs.I am pretty sure that adjunct therapy with aripiprazole is most favourable and has good data with positive results.
