Question: i am suffering with acute mouth ulcer below the tongue.please suggest an antibiotic. Ihave already used 4 tablets of Amoxylene and Potassium Calvanate.

Thanks for writing in.
Oral ulcer is usually does not need antibiotics.
You need to apply a topical corticosteroid like triamcilonone oral paste over the ulcer.
Also you can take oral B complex vitamin supplement. It helps in healing.
If any antibiotics are indicated then it can be ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice daily.
