Question: Which antibiotics do NOT have adverse interactions with amiodarone? I have expressed my concerns to both my Oncologist and my Cardiologist (now on vacation) but was not taken serious so am doing online research and meeting with my pharmacist this afternoon at 3pm (CT)

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Actually it would be a better option, that you choose antibiotic and then knowing its interaction. Because one can go into detailed interactions. No one can byheart these interactions, but one needs to check as and when one prescribes.
Common antibiotics which don't have any significant interactions are amoxicillin, piperacillin Tazobactom, cefixime, ceftriaxone, Nitrofurantoin, Metronidazole, Levofloxacin, Norfloxacin, Streptomycin, vancomycin etc etc.
Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
