Question : What antideppresant would you suggest for anxiety with panic and depression I have tried celexa, imiprimine, Prozac, Zoloft, lamictal, serozone. Iam 61 and use to be able to take celexa and nefazone but suddenly my body changed. I am feeling hopeless

Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

You did not have taken paroxetine yet.If I were your treating doctor I would like to go with Paroxetine(Paxil) Controlled release preparation 12.5 mg at night to start with.Simultaneously I would like to add low dose benzodiazepine like clonazepam(Klonopin) initially for anxiety features control.

There are also other options: Like desvenlafaxine(Prestique) , Bupropion and Mirtazapine. These are not SSRIs and so you can tolerate well.

If you can provide me some detail of each drug you are taking or had taken in past with dose and side effects, I can guide you more specifically.
