Question : hello doctor, plz suggest a good cough syrup for my wife. she is breastfeeding a 11 mnth old baby.

Use Mucolyte syrup.

Thanks for the follow up.

She can take Syrup Mucolyte 2 teaspoons 3 times a day. But is the sputum white or yellow in color . Is there any fever or throat pain ? Because she may require antibiotics also .

Ask her to do salt water gargling 3-4 times a day, drink hot water, eat less oily food and avoid non veg food and citrus fruits.
