Question: My son is 6.5 months old and his weight is 7 kg,is it average his birtg weight was 2.8,i have started on solids his chubbines has been reduced

Regarding feeding - babies has to be started on semisolid food from 6 months of age and gradually switch over to solid food at 1 year of age. Thus as you have started semisolid food it’s absolutely correct. The baby will gradually increase the amount he is taking with time.

As for the weight, the baby is above 50th percentile (the green line) which you can plot yourself on the chart that I have provided here with. If at any age the baby's weight is above 50th percentile you can be assured that the baby is growing normally.

There is no hard and fast rule. Feed whenever he is hungry on a demand and supply basis. Feed for at least 6 times daily.
Yes the chubbiness will decrease to some extent after starting semisolid food but don’t worry with it, go on feeding with semisolid and gradually increase the amount.
