Question: I just had a check up afew days ago and the Dr. told me I am on the verge of being a diabetic, and told me to watch what I'm eating. I need to find out what I can or cannot eat. Can you help me with this.? My name is Toni

Hi,

1. I will like to have a copy of these results and weigh in accordingly. To see how far off you were from normal.

2. What you eat isn't the problem. We discourage excess that lead to weight gain. I will say: stay physically active, exercise often and if your weight is higher than recommended, drop all.

Beside these, there are no reasons to be worried about meal types/food types. As long as you don't eat too much calories, you would be okay. But exercise, weight loss and active lifestyle should really be part of your daily objectives.
