Brief Answer: Hypothyroidism is the cause Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. The lone cause for your weight gain is existent hypothyroidism. Regular exercise with normal balanced diet would help you to loose or maintain healthy weight. Taking less food would surely cause problems by reducing your energy levels and cause more fatigue than help you. Do not go for diet plans, have food at regular timings and workout atleast 2 hours a day. This will suffice. Regards.
