Question: hello,

I have small pain at the right of my stomach for two months. it is like sparkle. my doctors performed all laboratory tests and also ultrasound tests are ok. all allergic tests are ok too. doctors did not find any specific problem. but they told me that this can be caused because of some food, spices etc. and pancreas is unable to deal with some fats inside these foods. I need a diet program which helps pancreas to deal better with foods. what do you suggest me ?

Brief Answer:
low fat/pancreatic enzymes

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
The pancreas processes fats and so a low fat diet would be the best for helping your pancreas recover. There are also pancreatic enzymes that you can buy at a pharmacy or health food store that may also be of help to you.
Foods that are low in fat are fresh fruits and vegetables. Carbohydrates like bread, pasta, potatoes and rice are also low fat (usually, check labels, some breads get lots of fat added to them). Eating extra fiber rich foods can help your body process any fats that you do get in your diet.
Read labels and pick lower fat products. Use oils, dairy and meats sparingly.
