Brief Answer:
Screen for urinary infections

Detailed Answer:
Hi,Sir
I have carefully read your query and understand your concern.

Weakness and headache can be a part of the disease process in diabetes due to inability of the body cells and brain cells to utilize glucose due to relative insulin deficiency.

Fever in your case has to be specially investigated since infections are quite common in diabetic people.

Urinary tract infections are very prevalent in diabetics.
Hence i strongly recommend you to have routine/screen complete blood picture along with complete urine examination and a renal ultrasound.

Urinary tract infections can be safely managed with Antibiotics like Norfloxacin under strict supervision of your doctors.

Fever can be controlled with tab Dolo 650mg under your doctor's prescription.

Weakness can be prevented by timely dietary habits.
Practice intake of small frequent meals.

Avoid following foods: Instead try these high fiber options:

1.White rice 1.Brown Rice
2.White potatoes 2.Sweet potatoes and cauliflower mash
3.Regular pastas 3.Whole wheat pasta.
4.White bread 4.Whole grain bread
5.Sugary breakfast cereals. 5.Raisin and XXXXXXX breakfast
6.Corn flakes. 6 XXXXXXX flakes
7.Corn 7.Peas or green leafy vegetables.

I hope this info is helpful to you,
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Apple and pomegranate

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

Yes, certainly diabetics need regular vitamin supplementation especially those on metformin are more prone to develop vitamin B12 deficiency.

I generally prescribe tablet Beplex forte one tab a day for 60 days and tab Matilda one tab every alternate day for 90 days.

Fruits particularly apple and pomegranate are rich in soluble fiber and plant insulin .
They have excellent activity against cardiovascular diseases in diabetics.

Thank you

Beplex fort and matilda tablet can be taken together , with food or without food. Both tablet can be taken with metformine.
Every alternative day means one day gap between two does
