Question : will taking amox tr-clv 875-125mg twice a day for 7 days clear chlamydia? i was told it isnt the recommend medication but it would work

I understand your concern and situation.

Usually we recommend azithromycin single dose or doxycycline twice per day for about one week. But yes amoxicillin and clavulante can also be used to treat chlamydia. It will require 825 mg twice or better 625 mg thrice daily doses for 5-7days.
