Suggest Dosage For Brilinta And Clopilet

Question: I had an absorb stent placed about a year ago. My cardiologist has changed my medication from brilinta 90mg twice a day plus ecospirin 75mg once a day to clopilet A 150mg once a day. Is it OK?

Basically after stent deployment one needs to continue blood thinner anti platelets life long.Brillanta and aspirin are meant for this.clopilet is similar drug.brillanta has certain advantage over clopidogrel in terms of onset of action and potency .But after period of 6 mths to one year it is not that important .so to make the treatment less costly we recommend the change over.so you have been rightly advised .
