Suggest Dosage For Budecort

I had asked a question earlier related to Asthma condition in my brother and this is just a follow up question on the same.

My brother was out of station and he started taking budesonide(budecort (Cipla))(200) just a week back as suggested by you.

But he is feeling comfortable even if he taking 2 puffs only once a day(night).

My question is, should he take it 2 times(2 puffs) mandatory as suggested by you or is it ok if he taking it only once a day(night 2 puffs) for 3 months as he is not feeling discomfort and then change it to budecort(100) only once a day(2 puffs at night)

Kindly advice.

Better to take budecort twice daily.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Budecort is having budesonide. It is long acting inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
It's action lasts for 12 hours.
So better to take budecort twice daily. And no need to take two puffs at a time.
Take 1 puff twice daily. Taper down to budecort (200) 1 puff once daily at night time. Then taper down to budecort (100),once daily at night time.
