Suggest Dosage For Crestor

Posted on Wed, 17 May 2017
Question: I take a generic form of Crestor. I usually take it in the morning before breakfast. I did today as well around 8:30 am. I was getting ready to eat lunch, was talking on the phone and took another pill without thinking. About 15 minutes later I realized what I had done. Obviously, it says to take as prescribed and not to take 2 dosages within 12 hours. How stupid was I?

Brief Answer:
This should not cause any serious problem

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, Crestor is well tolerated and can be perscribed up to 40 mg daily. This means that taking an extra tablet once will not cause you any serious side effects. But it is not adviced to take an extra tablet in a chronic form as on the long run it can cause a burden on your liver and muscular complications .. I hope I answered your question.
