Question: Hi, I take Dapsone 100mg daily for skin lesions. Can I take 200mg for a day?

Is Dapsone 200mg fine for a day? I am 76kgs in weight.

My CBC is fine with 100mg daily dose.

Brief Answer:
Dose can be increased if disease not responding to 100 mg dose

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
For which indication are you taking dapsone and why do you want to increase the dose?
If your disease is not responding to 100 mg dose and it is serious enough to warrant an increase in dose then you can definitely increase the dose but with frequent monitoring of complete blood count and liver function tests.

Dr Asmeet
