Suggest Dosage For Familon

Question : My wife forgot to take the Familon pill last night. The instructions on pack says that the pill can be taken with next day's pill, but within 12 hours, but its nearly 24 hours now. Now we are in doubt weather she should take 2 pills or 1 pill today, or something else should be right. Please help.

Your wife missed her pill familon yesterday. I would recommend that she go ahead and take two pills today and continue daily. She is not at risk for the pills not being effective. If she were to miss two days then she should use extra protection during that month. But since she is only 24 hours late it will not effect birth control
