Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that metoprolol does not have any noticeable effects on blood pressure. Its action is mainly on the heart rate.

Lisinopril is the main drug which lowers your blood pressure.

Coming to this point, I would recommend taking lisinopril 10mg in the morning and metoprolol in pm.

If your blood pressure is still low, I would recommend reducing the dose of lisinopril to 5mg in the morning.

It is also important to monitor your heart rate. If your heart rate is lower than 55bpm, I would recommend stopping metoprolol.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Yes, low blood pressure can cause these symptoms.

Coming to this point, a reduce in the dose of lisinopril is necessary.

I would recommend reducing the dose to 5 mg daily, at am.

I would also recommend taking plenty of fluids.

From the other hand metoprolol can lower physical performance and cause chronic fatigue.

If you do not have any increased heart rate or cardiac arrhythmia, I would recommend stopping taking it.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Wishing all the best,

My answer as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

It is too early for lexapro to start its effects.

So, it may be just anxiety.

I would recommend taking alprazolam 0.25 mg to help calm your anxiety.

Anyway, if you have skin itching or cutaneous redness, I would recommend going to the ER for a physical exam to exclude an allergic reaction.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
