the maximum daily dose is 40mg but normally a once daily medication
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic
The maximum dose of lisinopril is 40 mg which is above your current dose, it is a once daily dosing.
Your present dose can be increased and you may be able to take another tablet to help reduce your blood pressure since you are below XXXXXXX but it would be best to speak to your doctor or visit the ER if you are having any symptoms along with the very high blood pressure (eg blurred vision, dizziness, headaches, chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, decreased urination).
Your medication may need further adjustment if you can getting these type of readings.
Most persons need a combination of different types of blood pressure medications for control, this may be the case for you.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
