Question : I have been on Lyrica for six months after the shingles.Trying to reduce dosage and itching. Is this common?
Brief Answer:
Common to have pain & itching, may take a long time to resolve
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
I have gone through your complaints and it is very common to have pain, burning and itching after shingles.
It may take some more time say may be an year to subside.
Till then you need to continue with lyrica.
For itching take antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine 10 mg once daily at bedtime.
This might help you in reducing the dose of lyrica.
