Question: Hi i am 6 weeks pregnant. I bought this mankind unwanted kid and and advise to take misipristone first tonight and if i have periods by tomorrow then not to take the other 4 misipristol tabs. If no periods by tomorrow then i should take two misipristol tabs orally, if periods induced i can stop taking the rest two pills if not then to vaginally insert the remaining 2 pills. I am still confused. Could u please guide accordingly. I really need your clear advice for successfully aborting medically at once without any complications. Also i am a paraplegic and wheelchair bound 26 years old hope this would not be any problem.

Brief Answer:
Mifepristone followed by misoprostol

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

For medical abortion, the mifepristone tablet should be taken orally followed by 2 tablets of misoprostol orally or vaginally after 48 hours.
The bleeding occurs within next 24 hours.
If no bleeding is there after 24 hours, then the 2 tablets of misoprostol are repeated.
It is better to take these pills under guidance of a gynecologist.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Hi,
I had 2 misipristol in the morning and after 20 minutes i got bleeding and when i went in the toilet a big lump of blood came out, is the abortion process done with the bleeding? How do i know its complete? And do i still need to eat the remaining 2 misipristol tablets as i did not get chance to insert in the vagina as bleeding started? So should i consume it orally or can refrain it from taking further dose as bleeding already came. I would be glad if i am advised on the other 2 remaining tablets particularly.

Brief Answer:
No need to take the other 2 tablets

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
If the bleeding has started after2 tablets of misoprostol, and you have passed clots, then there is no need to take other 2 tablets.
The bleeding will continue for 5-7 days.
The confirmation that the abortion process is completed can be done by an ultrasound done after 2 weeks.
