Question : Hello Doctor,
I have taken unwanted kit for aborting 6 week of pregnancy as per local doctor's advise. I have already taken 1 tablet of Mifepristone and taken 2 tab of Misoprostal vaginally after 24hrs as advised by local doctor. Bleeding has been started after 6hrs of misoprostal. Do I take rest 2tab of misoprostal or not? My local doctor is out of station and not contactable as of now. Please advice.

Hi,

You should complete all the tablets in the dose of UNWANTED KIT.
Misoprostol has prostaglandins which helps in expulsion of the contents of the uterus as a result of conception. All the tablets have to be taken for the process to complete.
The bleeding had already started but let the entire content be removed.
So complete all the tablets including the rest two tablets that are left.

Detailed Answer:
The rest of the tablets can be taken after 12 hours of first tablet, one tablet each time. Simply put in the vagina.
