Question : I have taken 60mg of IR oxycodone, I am unable to call for help or get to a hospital, am I going to be okay? please dont judge me I am already very scared that I will die.

Please find my observations below.

1. The recommended dose of IR oxycodone in adults with moderate to severe pain is 10 to 30 mg every 4 hours. This is under prescription.

2. If you have taken 60 mg IR oxycodone then it is twice maximum prescribed dose. You will most likely tolerate this dose. This is not likely to kill you but can cause undesired effects of over dose. If you have any symptoms like confusion, increased drowsiness or irregular heart beat then please inform your family and friends. They will come to your help.

3. Please do not take medicines more than the prescribed dose.

it has been 3 and a half hours since i took the 60mg of ir oxycodone how much longer before i am safe from od

1. The IR oxycodone has T1/2 of 3.2 hours. If it is 3 and half hours since taking the medicine then right now it has reached half level in blood and that is a safe limit. I guess you are going to be safe. Please do not repeat a high done again.
