Posted on Fri, 18 Aug 2017
Question: While giving pentaxim vaccination to my baby (3.5m old), a few drops leaked out and only a couple of drops (1-2 drops) were injected to my baby. The nurse/doctor said it's OK. Only 1 drop is enough. Is it really enough?

Brief Answer:
Needs re dose

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
No, she is wrong.
Your child won't get required protection with remaining medicine.
Better to get revaccinated .
One more dose will not be harmful, infact will protect well.
Wishing your child good health.
Regards.
Dr Arun
