Brief Answer:
The medicines will work and you should avoid extra salt in food

Detailed Answer:
Hi Kumarvxxxxxx17,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. The medicine TAZLOC CT contains telmisartan and chlorthalidone which is good to control high blood pressure.

2. The MET XL contains metoprolol which is meant to control high blood pressure.

3. If you blood pressure was around 190/ 90 mm Hg at rest then giving the medicines in the recommended dose is acceptable.

4. You should take the medicines for 3 months and review your high blood pressure regularly for dose. Blood pressure is recorded after 30 minutes of physical and mental rest.

5. The medicines can bring it to below 140/ 90 mm Hg which is normal range and you can take precautions. Depending on your age and treatment response the blood pressure can become normal in range of 120/ 80 mm Hg. Please avoid extra salt in diet and do mental relaxation.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
