Suggest Dosage For Tylenol

Question : I went to pain management yesterday. I've never been treated for pain and have almost no drug history from any pharmacy.

The doctor prescribed me Norcon in a 5/325 dose, 4 times a day. Two concerns: the 5 mg of oxy is inadequate for me--I'm 250lbs.-and the 325mg of Tylenol seems like an awful lot.

I understand starting slow, but I need relief now--I have a physical profession--I'd like to,get,a stronger dose with no Tylenol.

Should I seek a second opinion?

Hi,

I understand your situation now.
YOu need a quicker pain relief for your daily job.
I think you should go back to same doctor who can fulfill your requirement. It all means to communicate with your doctor properly.
Oxycodone is a narcotic and cause some reactions the doctor initially test with lower dose. If you do not have any reactions he can very well increase it to manage pain free life.
Speak to him again before opting a second opinion.
