Utrogestan is to be taken upto 400 mg daily. You can take 200 mg utrogestan vaginally in the morning and in the evening at the same time daily. Oral preparation is usually not needed if you are taking the tablet vaginally in full dosage. Oral preparation is more commonly associated with systemic side effects.
