Suggest Dosage For Wellbutrin XL

Question: My de prescribed me 300 mg wellbutrin xl..now I have taken it in the past years ago and I started with 150 mg then..is this normal to just take 300 without gradually stepping up? I'm nervous to take that much.

Extended release formulation should not be cut into half.
Its better to get 150mg bupropion formulation.
