Question : Hi I'm 30 years old and 5 weeks pregnant.i consult with my doctor who is my relative.she gave mifeprin kit 3 tablets 200mg and told to take in empty stomach and after 2 days zitotec 2 tabs 200mg.i have a doubt taking tat can u suggest the right dose and procedures? How to take tabs orally or vaginally? When will I bleed?how long will I bleed?suggest some pain killers?

I can understand your concerns.
Mifiprim kit( abortion pills) should always be taken under supervision of a doctor or an expert.
I have given my patient a one tablet of mifepristone( because pregnancy is only 5 weeks) orally on day one than on day 3 you can take mesoprostol one tablet twice daily either orally or vaginally than repeat the dose on next day.
Bleeding starts usually 4-6 hrs. after taking mesoprostol and initially it is more but when product will come out it will decrease.
In some patients it can continue upto 7-10 days.
You can take meftal spas if pain is more.
You should repeat your ultrasound scan 10 days after taking pills.

I took 3 tablets of mifeprin in empty stomach tis morning. After 48 hours I ll take 2 tablets of zitotec 200mg .is this dose sufficient? or should I take 2 more tablets of zitotec? can I travel in car after taking mifeprin? how should I take zitotec orally or vaginally?

You should take another 2 tablets of zytotec to complete the course.
You can take them either orally or vaginally but vaginally more effective.
No you should not travel after taking mifepristone.

should I take 4 tablets of zitotec on same day? or is there any time gap? how long should I wait after taking mifeprin? 24 hrs or 48 hrs?

hi doctor!!I took 2 tablets of misoprostol this morning vaginally.in 4 hours I started to bleed and passed out blood clots. tomorrow I'm taking 2 more tablets.can I take it orally?? because I'm bleeding...can I take one in morning and other in evening??? thank you for guiding me. when should I go for ultrasound?
