Brief Answer:
Go ahead

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is rare to have unruptured follicle after second shot.

Go for third shot. But remember following points:

1) Take different brand of hCG trigger. Don't use the same brand you took twice as there could be manufacturing defect.

2) Preferably take different brand in a different facility.

I did ivf in September with 3 embryo transfer and now in Nov iui.
after my 2nd trigger shot yesterday experience very very bad cramps and pulls on my chest area.
till now I am having pain.
will acupuncture help to rupture the follicle
doctor
Answered by Dr. Mahesh Koregol (17 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Follicle would have ruptured

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Cramps suggest you have probably ovulated. Repeat ultrasound scan before next shot as ovulation is likely.

Acupuncture does not help you. Since you have ovulated in the past and had 3 embryos transferred you are likely to ovulate again.

Brief Answer:
Ovulation possible 36 hours after second trigger

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

As per second trigger short ovulation would occur after 36 hours which will be at 12:30 AM on 18th.

Cramps you have now suggest probable ovulation. Try having sexual intercourse now for better results of conception.

he also said 1 of the follicle the fluid showed bleeding which is called some term...I forgot...too tough for me to remember the term

Brief Answer:
This was expected as I discussed previously

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

This is what I had predicted. I told that you would have ovulated.

You can go ahead with IUI at 4:30. Bleeding is called hemorrhagic cyst and its ok.

I suggest you go for IUI as per plan.

Let me know the developments after IUI.

what's hemorrhagic cyst?
does tat mean that particlar follicle doesn't release an egg?

also if I have 4 follicles does that mean I have 4 eggs?

also after iui today when should I have intercoms and for how many days to increase chances.
doctor
Answered by Dr. Mahesh Koregol (5 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Egg is released. Good Pregnancy Chances

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

After the egg release, the follicle is filled with some fluid and some blood. Nothing to worry about it.

4 follicles mean 4 eggs and your chances of pregnancy is good.

Have intercourse everyday for 3 days after IUI.

Let me know if you have anymore doubts.
