Query answered

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,

Hope this message finds you in good health.

Your query was -

"I started vitamin B12 1000mcg about three weeks ago. Would that have any bearing on my problem? Also D3 1000IU but have used for 6/8 months. I take one 'Tylenol type' tablet, 650mg or 500mg twice per day for pain per doctors advice"

My answer to your query 6 days ago was-

"Vitamin B12 1000mcg will definitely have beneficial effects on the symptoms that you are presently suffering from. You should continue taking it for another 2 weeks.

D3 recommended dose is 60,000 IU per week. You seem to be taking very low dose at present.
60,000 IU D3 is available in capsule or XXXXXXX form.
You can take it once in a week for a period of 1 month

Taking pain killer tablets daily should be avoided as these may have adverse effect on the liver and kidney functioning"

Just to inform you that i have been treating patients with similar complaints as yours, quite successfully at our clinic for over 10 years, with excellent results.

As you had mentioned, you were already taking Vitamin B12 1000 mcg before asking the query.I just asked you to continue that.

As per the latest recommendations, the recommended dose for vitamin D is 60,000 IU per week when deficiencies are suspected.
So my recommendations and suggestions to you were absolutely correct and i stick to my answer.

You can be assured that these are not high dosages but are the latest recommendations that we follow daily in our clinical practice.

Feel free to ask me if you have any further doubts.

Thank you.
