Question : Hello Dr. ..... I am XXXXXXX age-40. I am taking 50 mcg thyronorm daily. Two months before my TSH was 0.40, T3 1.89 and T4 was 11.37. but recently I checked in lab that TSH is 0.15, T3 2.07 and T4 is 13.19. I fill some pain also in my throat. Please advice to normalize the TSH, T3 and T4 level. What is dosage in this condition?

Brief Answer:
The dose of Thyronorm should be adjusted.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma am,
Hi & Good morning!
I appreciate your concern for the thyroid function test results.

While replacing the thyroid hormones in the form of Thyronorm tablet, the TSH     level should be maintained between 0.4-4.5 mU/L (milliunits per litre) which in your case is found to be 0.15 mU/L which is low.

Hence, I would advise you to kindly consult your treating doctor for the dosage adjustment of Thyronorm so as to have a normal TSH level.

Hope to have answered your query.

Wishing you a very good health.
