Question: I'm taking 10mg lisinopril daily. The multivitamin/greens supplement I had been taking contains 300 mg potassium per daily serving. Am I at risk for too much potassium if I take the multivitamin/greens supplement?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Thanks for writing.

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

A persons may eat loads and loads of potassium and may not get high potassium its because one's kidneys can maintain a steady level or potassium in the blood throwing off some potassium in the urine and insuline too adjust potassium levels in the body.

So a person earing 12 bananas daily will not get high potassium unless he is having kidney dsamage. so if you do not have any issues with you kidneys you are not at a risk of getting super high levels of potassium ... you do not have to worry. You can use any supplement you want just drink enough water.

Regrads.
