Question : Iwas recently diagnosed with asthma, but m symptoms are not well controlled. What inhalers are usually used first?

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Ma'am, a steroid inhaler is usually prescribed initially to help reduce symptoms, but usually along with either salbutamol or terbutaline inhalers.

Also important to note are the kind of inhalers available like metered dose inhalers, metered dose inhalers with a spacer, or dry powder inhalers. Please also request your doctor to give you a spacer with your inhaler as they usually help first timers a lot.
